Making Peace with Your Body
This group is for those with body image concerns, chronic illness, a history of trauma and/or dissociation, and those who “live from the neck up.” It will also help those who desire to learn to trust themselves and follow the Spirit. We will explore how we relate to our bodies and what that tells us about how we grew up and how to heal. It will be highly experiential and will involve practicing skills such as attending to body sensations, feeling pleasure, practicing self-acceptance, and trusting your instincts. The goal is to not just to embrace and befriend your body, but to appreciate it as a wonderful resource for intuition, self growth, and joy.
Cost: 4 1.5 hour sessions, $190 for the series
